v303 FG Public Affairs
KANDAHAR AIR BASE, AFGHANISTAN – The Virtual 303rd Fighter Group has initiated Phase 2 of Operation Prevailing Liberty, deploying both of its Squadrons as the growing presence of Chinese military influence in the North Eastern region of Afghanistan. The mission: dismantle NSF control, disrupt Chinese support networks, and stabilize the northeastern provinces.
- Leading the offensive is the virtual 303rd Fighter Squadron “KC Hawgs”, bringing the formidable A-10C Warthog to the fight. Renowned for unmatched close air support and battlefield survivability, the Hawgs will focus on breaking NSF strongholds and providing direct cover to coalition ground forces and strikes on strategic infastructure.
- Joining them are the F-16Cs of the Virtual 93rd Fighter Squadron “Makos” – a versatile, multi-role force capable of precision strikes and high-speed interdiction. The Makos will counter redair, key command nodes, and PLA-provided radar/SAM systems to ensure coalition airspace security and freedom of maneuver.
International Reactions – NATO partners have voiced support, citing the mission’s importance in preventing further destabilization and in protecting the sovereignty of Afghanistan’s emerging democratic elements. The Chinese government, however, has condemned the operation as “unprovoked aggression,” despite intelligence confirming PLA logistical, financial, and technical backing to the NSF, including advanced radar, air defense, and airframe assets.
As the Virtual 303rd begins combat operations, coalition planners stress that success in Phase 2 will hinge on precision targeting, close integration between fixed and rotary wing assets, and sustained pressure on NSF/PLA infrastructure.
Phase 2 Deployment Objectives
**(Official DEPORD to follow with updated intel)
- Neutralize Taliban "Northern Security Front"/china PLA Threats – Following the U.S. withdrawal in 2021, the NSF has entrenched across key provinces, executing reprisals against former U.S. allies and dismantling humanitarian reforms. A-10C, F-16C, and other BLUEFOR assets will dismantle NSF C2 nodes, destroy air defense assets, and cut supply lines.
- Counter Chinese Military Influence – PLA forces, under the guise of “security assistance,” have deployed air defense networks, J-11B fighter patrols, and electronic warfare platforms into northeastern Afghanistan. The v303 FG will execute targeted strikes to degrade PLA-provided systems, safeguard coalition airspace, and reassure allied partners of enduring U.S. commitment to the region.
