Love it or hate it... but this some refreshing news in the ED world.
There has been alot of backlash against Heavies in the past, when it comes to what mission role a module as such would serve within the simulator environment. Just like all the other arguments against every USAF heavy being in DCS... the C130 does not just do "10hr sorties". I have personally seen them launch and recover before the fighters returned home... all depends on the mission.

I think the profit margin on this module will be extremely important for any future dev hope of DCS Heavies, so I hope it turns out to be successful...

From ASC the C-130 dev:

From ASC:

A. YES, this is not a community mod but a 3rd party full product.

Q. Is Anubis part of the team, is this the community version?
A. Yes, though the roles have changed a lot as the scope of the project has changed.

Q. Will I be able to go silly speeds like in the community version?

A. Yes the mission computer, cni, etc are all planned on being fully functional with in available documentation limits. All screens and radar etc will be as accurate as the devs can make it.

Q. How do the throttles work?
A. You can map either each separately eg 1,2,3,4 to an axis, each side eg. Left/Right or all. This gives you maximum amount of leeway in setting things up as you need for your own kit.

Q. Force Feed Back?
A. Uncertain, no devs currently have FFB hardware.

Q. Multi-crew?
A. Yes it will have multi-crew with positions for at least the Pilot, Copilot and load crew/mission spec (So at least 3 positions).

A. As accurate as the person writing it can be based on both information here and knowing the devs.

Q. Will I be able to do SIDS,STARS, etc
A. Yes, as mentioned above the CNI-MC will be as accurate as the dev's can make it.

Q. Can it AAR?

A. TBD, but expect it to be about the same as any other 3rd party aircraft.

A. Uncertain at this time, but would like to do it.
