To welcome all of us home to Nellis in a couple of weeks, the v303 FG NTTR mission has recently gone thru a complete overhaul with PC performance as the 1st priority. With the complexity of today's DCS, and the addition of VR, it's imperative to have a mission that runs efficiently and all the while keeping it simple and enjoyable to fly. So with that in mind, many changes have been made to improve performance with function simplicity as 2nd priority. The F10 menus have changed and offer different functions than before that may require pilot interaction depending on the goals of your flight. There have been a few changes to some current targets and a few additions as well.
Tonight's goal is to introduce everyone to the new menu's, all the current target changes, additions, and functionality of each one.
Mission performance and functionality need to be tested so any additional updates that might be needed can be performed before 01Sep23. After the meeting, I encourage as many pilots as possible, grab a partner and your favorite NTTR MDC and check it out, feed back is needed.
