I suppose I do not need an introduction as I have been jamming for about a month already but I figured I'd throw some info here so the wing can know a little about me.

Originally I am from the Maritimes of Canada and am currently living in Quebec, Canada. I have been working in Aviation for almost 20 years in mostly blue-collar positions. First, by loading hunters into Convairs but mostly I have been losing your luggage, dinging your aircraft, and occasionally supplying the highest quality dihydrogen monoxide to aircraft this side of Toronto. Currently, I work for a union supporting airport employees. I also travel when I can and my next big trip is Japan.

Besides working around aircraft I have had the pleasure of flying them as a student pilot, jumping out of them as a skydiver, hang-gliding and a great opportunity to bang around in an L-39 twice. Unfortunately, I haven't finished any certifications but it is on the wish-list.

Because it is cheaper than a real F-18, but still an expensive hobby, I have been jamming DCS since 2019. I have thousands of hours in Navy and Airforce ops both "mil-sim" and casual. I also really enjoy the F-5, occasionally flirt with the F-16, dance with the Huey and Hind, but my new piece is the OH-58D, which is what brings me to the v303rd and so far I am really enjoying the people and missions.

I call myself a nerd with a joystick. I appreciate documents, publications and anecdotes from real pilots and maintainers to find a balance of realism that is fun and attainable inside DCS but I am happy to just go out and jam with the goal of having fun.

Here's a snap of me dressed up for some War at Sea-Self escort.

Looking forward to jamming with y'all!

Pleasure having you here with us S saltie , love the mindset that you share with attempting to keep things balanced when it comes to FUN and realism without turning into a second job LOL. As a stakeholder, please feel free to speak up as time goes on, if you ever feel ways to improve the hobby experience!

Interesting Hornet dissimilar loadout, I know the USN was famous for running those configs on Hornets back in the day. Look forward to your vital rotor ops assistance with SCAR and Buddy lazing downrange for our pointy nose folk' (y)
