Hello Everyone!

Newest Mudhen driver checking in! I'm glad to finally be getting back into DCS squadron work and looking forward to getting to know you guys and how you operate.

A quick rundown on me. I am 21 so my flight sim journey started with an FSX simulator at Fry's shortly after it launched. Spent thousands of hours on FSX for the next decade or so along with a good bit of time in Aces High and eventually IL2. Started flying DCS when a buddy of mine gifted me the F15C, and I decided that FC3 just wasn't my style and picked up the F5, and eventually the F18, and the F14, and so on until I had just about every US module with the exception of the harrier and A10.

Outside of video games, I am a commercial pilot and CFI trying to get to the airlines. I also work part-time with an Air National Guard F-16 squadron, hoping to get a pilot slot with them as well. My Dad and I have a J-3 cub which I am building tailwheel time in, so one day I can follow in his footsteps and get into the warbird/airshow business.

I saw there are some motorcycle guys here as well. I just did my MSF course this summer and am riding around on a CBR600RR having a blast, and hoping to take it out to the track soon, as well as my car.

I look forward to getting checked out in the 15 and flying with you all!

Hey Guts Guts !! Welcome, happy to have you here! Are you a contractor or Guardsman?
Man, the J-3 cub has got to be one of the most versatile and moddable airframes to own. Especially while I was in Colorado and Idaho, saw so many of those old girls with modded beefed up wheels, and props for the rugged aviation. Looks like a blast being able to land out in the small field strips up in the mountains.

Sounds like you have a great career path ahead of you, and look forward to having you onboard the v303 FG brotherhood!

I’m enlisted. Missed out on going overseas due to health issues so no deployments under my belt yet but hopefully soon.

The J-3 is a blast but man is it a whole different type of flying compared to what I’m used to.
