Hey guys, a little about me:

From Montreal, Canada. I did private security for a couple years. studied automobile mechanics and electrical vehicles. It led me to build batteries for a company a while but I didn't like to be held indoors so I'm currently a working as a mailman.

I'm crazy about drones and flying them, working on making it a side hustle.

I'm very happy to be part of this group.

Welcome Beetle ! I too have been curious about looking into some sort of FPV drone to fly around in the backyard/from a FPV headset. Figured I would wait a couple more years... latency antennas and all to mature a bit. Are you looking at starting a drone company for a certain industry?

You’d be surprised how good FPV can get! Building your own drone would be the best because you can add and modify the components.

I have a couple DJI drones, one FPV, that i’d like to get them to work professionally. I would focus more on photography/videography for events and realtors. Also for fun, more freestyle videos.

Haha yeah, I love the mechanical modularity and parts upgrades aspect of these custom drone builds. I was looking at one of these "NewBee" drones just for the purpose of messing around in FPV, flying around the house outside and maybe practicing some landings on our chimney

Potential fun hobby down the road to get into, just have not had the extra funds this year ontop of the DCS hobby. Someday tho!
