With the preorder for RAZBAM’s F-15E Strike Eagle going live today (what a fun show to watch) and release of the module on the horizon I wanted to share with the community what our plans are in the v303 Fighter Group for the airframe. We will absolutely be adding the Strike Eagle to our organization. With that being said initially it’ll be added more as a novelty than a full blown combat coded squadron initially. This is primary because as most are aware we are a relatively new virtual origination just opening our doors in late summer 2022 and still working towards completion of our A-10C II and F-16C B-Course and Mission Qualification Training.
As excited as we are for the F-15E we don’t want to divert bandwidth from our current development focus, this wouldn’t be fair to our current students progressing through their respective courses in the v303 Fighter Squadron or v93 Fighter Squadron. With that being said….
The v303 FG has chosen the v307th Fighter Squadron “Stingers” as our F-15E squadron. This continues the tradition of adopting and paying homage to Air Force Reserve Command squadrons. The real world 307 FS is a Classic Associate Reserve unit activated at Seymour Johnson AFB, North Carolina in 2010. They are responsible to assisting the 4th Fighter Wing train F-15E aircrew.
