Hello all,

I have been playing DCS since 1.5 in late 2017, but I have never taken it too seriously until now. I started with the P-51D and then A-10C, and I have by far the most pit time in the A-10C. I pre-ordered the F-16C but haven't touched it much since, been waiting for a full release. I have known Wing through Discord for 2+ years and he was the one who steered me in this direction.

In real life I work in management. I am young and have a lot of ground to cover. Healthy hobbies are part of a healthy life and I hope investing in this group will benefit everyone involved. DCS, Lego scale modelling, motorcycling and hockey are some of the activities I most enjoy in my spare time. I look forward to getting to know you all better.

Cheers,
Stalker

Hi,

I have been plying the skies of DCS for about 4 years starting with the F-18 as my primary before adding the F-16 about three years ago. I also dabble in the helicopter modules, with the Mi-8 being my go to, but I am not really a AH fan. I am here because I want to learn how to do things the correct way with like-minded people.

I am an old man, mostly retired after a 34yr military career. I have been flying things recreationally, in RL, since I was about 16 years old and can turn my hand to almost anything with wings, blades or wheels. I look forward to flying with and learning from you all..................Maybe after I get through the Viper course I might have a stab at the Hog!

Im in the US Army and I have the A-10C and A-10CII which are fun to fly but I prefer the C II and I leave for basic in early January!
Welcome sir, and thank you for your future service!

Hello Everyone, 🖖!
Just got accepted in the Wing. Aviation enthusiasts. Love to be in anything that has a harness and get airborne. old-time simmer all the way back to Falcon3.0/4/FreeFalcon/BMS and flew most Lonewolf. Was MIA for a long time and rusty. Recently dusted off my Cougar and jumped on DCS the bandwagon. Been searching for a great group and was lucky enough to find 303rd. Looking forward to train and splash together.

This is my pre-application introduction:

Hi All... I'm a 69-yr old kid-at-heart from Edmonton, Canada. I retired at 51 from a career in law enforcement in 2004 (recently started a fulltime job to pay off some of my “toys) and am active in volunteering which keeps me out of trouble (most of the time). My passion for over 40 years has been to coach basketball at various school-age levels as well as Special Olympics.

I decided to become a quilter/bag maker a few years ago and I’m currently making a weighted blanket for an air force vet buddy of mine. I put my flight controls away many years ago after my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer and pulled them out of storage just before covid hit. I’ve upgraded my computer system and controls recently but still haven’t flown much so I consider myself a diamond in the rough.

My flying background is primarily in X-plane, and I have most of the IL-2 and DCS modules, but they are all rusting away in my hangars too. I’ve started to go through Chuck’s F-16 Guide and have viewed and loaded numerous videos to assist me in my initial learning curve to position myself to submit an official application.

In my spare time I am attempting to learn how to play a bass guitar. When I first brought the equipment home, my wife made a comment asking when I would have time to spend with her. I suggested that she should take up the drums …..THEN I RAN!
